Sally jumped off the high dive and was queasy for a couple hours after a spectacular belly flop. (My description of “ballerina legs and toes” didn’t help). Spot blows bubbles and can travel along the wall and mostly pull herself out. Susan is a “Monkey, Airplane, Soldier” (elementary backstroke) fiend.

But the best part of swimming lessons?
