I grew up in a Catholic family, and became Anglican (Episcopal) in my early 20s. So I'm familiar with the traditions and rituals of those two denominations, but from what I've seen in some TV shows, Mormon traditions are different (and guess that "Big Love" probably doesn't represent every Mormon family ;) ). Why is Dick in a white dress/garment? That kind of thing is interesting to me. Awww. :)

It brought tears to my eyes and reminded me of my own feelings not so long ago. It really is amazing, the opportunity we have as mothers to look at the world through their eyes.
