That is the cutest picture! She is going to be an artist someday. My boys want a cat or dog but I say no. We go to the shelter about once a month to look at the animals. Hopefully that will be good enough for awhile.
4 houses down there are, literally, 21 cats. The new homeowners moved in to three pregnant abandoned cats, and that’s how this multiplicity happened. We visit them daily. Kitties are so cute when they aren’t living in your house!

Marie, in primary the kids learn that when they pray they should thank Heavenly Father for certain things and then they can ask for certain things. She was thanking Heavenly Father for Jesus and asking Him for a cat!
I love it!
I’m also against animals. I don’t understand how someone who has to clean up children all day would want to clean up after pets too. But, I tell my kids that MAYBE when we’re done having babies we can get one. But absolutely never one that barks!
