The Johnsons are on the road! They finally pulled out of Tampa around 3 on Saturday afternoon. Everyone wish them luck on the journey to Utah, and continued luck finding housing, schools, stores, lives, etc. in their new town, wherever it may be. And pray their house in FL will sell. I don’t know how Jane’s been dealing with all the stress. She did tell me that 5 days of inactivity in the car are sounding really nice about now. They finally decided to come the I-10 route, but Mother Nature put a stop to that with all the rain and tropical storms, so they’re headed all the way up to I-80. I’m sure everyone will be thinking about them and wishing them well. Not sure they’ll have internet access (no laptop) but I will pass on any comments left here.

I just told Shannon this but thought I’d share it publicly. I was telling Olivia how great it will be that Avery and Callie will be able to be with us for Thanksgiving and Christmas and maybe some other fun weekends and she started getting really excited: “And Easter? And St. Patrick’s Day?”
Yeah, what would St. Patrick’s Day be without a longish drive so Olivia might be able to pinch her cousin.
Wow I can’t believe they packed so fast! They deserve some kind of award or something. Maybe I’lll send a note to PepsiCo and talk them into making a case of caffeine free Mountain Dew. After all her endorsement they owe it to her!

Uh, sorry Marcy – I already invited Shannon to come down to AZ for Thanksgiving. Not that I really think she’ll come, but I sure hope.
Marie – I swear that’s the reason Shannon got packed up so fast – they have caffeine free Mt. Dew in Utah. She loved it on vacation. I brought 7 or 8 boxes home to AZ with me from UT last trip. But you should totally call Pepsi and have them send a case to me! I’m pregnant now and will have to be off the caffeine for a while.
