Speed Scrabble, that is. Although, according to Wikipedia, what the Hyatts introduced to us on their recent trip to Florida (Feb 4-12) as Speed Scrabble is actually called Take Two. Wikipedia’s legitimacy as the ultimate authority is a subject for another day. Speed Scrabble (or SSS when you add “strip” to the front), as I choose to call it, is great fun. It is the first game that Dick has actually asked me repeatedly to play in our 9 years together (besides, of course, those games that lead to things like children). Below I’ve immortalized my puzzle from one of our games today. Dick said I was a big nerd for taking a picture of it. Sounds like sour grapes to me. Notice the two connecting circles. Wow.
