Don’t worry, we didn’t sample any complimentary beverages. (And I only refilled my special mountain dew bottle twice). No tear-jerking shows here, thank goodness. I got to introduce my fam to SHEIKRA, the world’s longest drop roller coaster (acc. to BG). Karin, Ryan and I got to ride in the front row a couple times at the end of the day. Karin complimented Ryan on his impeccably groomed eyebrows as the ride came to a stop. Apparently Ryan’s eyebrows are usually something of a challenge. It is getting easier for me to not scream during the ride (the first couple times I had quite a sore throat after riding).
Dad had seemed a bit offended when I told him I thought of him every time we saw the 4-D Leslie Nielsen show “Escape from Pirate Island,” but he deigned to enjoy it immensely on the day.
Gotta watch out for those hippos, Sally.
I’ve always thought Marcy looks like Sarah Jessica Parker, and here Karin looks like Angelina Jolie, without the Restylane lips and other, um, enhancements, eh?
Susan’s favorite thing at Busch Gardens is the “cot’n canny.” We make sure she gets equal portions of blue and pink (different anti-oxidant properties, you know).
