I?ve been thinking now for a long time about starting a blog site to act as a family journal, a thought journal, and for organizing other content. What?s been keeping me back is the fact that I have so many different? categories that I can?t imagine anyone reading it. Eventually I?ll make RSS feeds to the different categories, but I suppose in reality no one will read my blog site at all, except for my own family. That?s okay.
There was also the question of hosting. I wanted to have access to the code to play with, and the hosted version restricted that. So I finally bought a two-year hosting plan.
I?m also using blogs as classroom software, to showcase my freelance site, and for other purposes. So in reality I have several blogs, not just one. The additional blogs are available in other domains, such as idratherbewriting.com/itt and other suffixes.
